3rd Post Painting - Saturday Nov. 5th, 2016 - Calle Ocampo

Everything starts with an idea.  Our kids showed up early at 6 Esquinas,
with ideas coming out of their ears!

Their designs were drawn and ready to be painted on the pueblo posts....but first we had a short, color mixing class to make sure their designs would be painted beautifully.

One quick picture of the group and they were off!

Beginnings can be tough, but our kids rose to the challenge.

As I strolled Hidalgo and Ocampo streets, making sure the kids had all they needed, I was struck with the magic being created before my eyes.  Each team painted different images, all amazing in their own way.

The empty posts morphed into colorful, lush creations.

Even Raul got into the spirit of the day and painted.

Catch our kid's work all over town.

We will be painting every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 noon,
and undoubtedly you will see some of us in your neighborhood.

Next Saturday, Nov. 12th, 2016 we will meet again at 6 Esquinas at 9 a.m.
to continue our project.  Feel free to join us or bring a youth to participate.

We'd like to thank the 5th and 6th grade classes from
Saul Rodiles Elementary School
for all their fine and hard work.

Also our paint sponsor, Prisa Paints

Our tireless volunteers who make this possible.

And our friend, Regidor Juan de Dios Garcia Velazco for all his support.
